1989 is referring to the year Taylor Swift was born. This album is filled with fun, upbeat, pop music. Taylor Swift completely changed her course with this album going from county to pop artist. This album is light-hearted and playful therefore I wanted to keep with the cover art for this one because I love the light blue background and the seagull silhouettes. It reminds me of being on the beach which is also fun, cheery, and bright. During her tour, she comes out with a bright shimmery outfit that complements the fun in this Era so well. It’s definitely giving me summer vibes with this album.
