Inspired by Taylor Swift’s latest album, The Tortured Poets Department. She included this new Era into her set list on tour so the outfit is based from that. The rest of it was inspired by her music video “Fortnight” where she and Post Malone are standing in the middle of a road with a tornado of papers just flying around the two of them. I love this visual and think it represents this Era well as this Era is all about female rage. There is a lot of hard-hitting songs on this album and a lot to dissect. This is definitely one of her more vulnerable albums. Taylor is bringing up her past and leaving nothing unsaid, but she does it with grace, confidence, and dignity. This album cover is very black and white, (even her full music video is black & white), so I wanted to keep within the same theme. You can find the lyrics of all of her songs from this album collaged onto this vinyl.
